Ok, so I have been VERY prolific this past month and a half or so, and cranked out some pretty awesome necklaces and earrings. I've been working very hard on my wire-wrapping skills, and starting to delve into the world of BODY CHAINS. A lot of this stuff is already available on
ETSY, so if you like anything, feel free to check it out there.
This is, basically, one SUPER rad earring. I've been into the whole mismatched earring look lately, and wanted to start making super elaborate single earrings. This one is made from a wire disc, with three small raw quartz crystals mounted in wire. I would wear it with a regular gold hoop in my other earring (and mismatched tiny studs in my other piercings...I have 4 in each ear)
I love how they look like weird little teeth.
These earrings were actually singles I found at different times, BUT they look like they belong together. I put wire-wrapped crystals at different heights, keeping with the whole asymmetry thing
I had all these awesome, industrial looking chains, and so I decided to make one big badass necklace with them. The natural-looking quartz tones down the bondage vibe a lot.
Copper, gunmental, brass, and crystal....a study in color, texture and contrast.
And now for something completely different....a delicate art nouveau sterling silver pendant, with an emerald cut stone (possibly white topaz, or quartz), on a vintage sterling chain.
Its not all about huge crazy bib neckalces. Sometimes I like to make things that have the look and feel of an heirloom that was passed down to you.
And back to the big and crazy! This piece features a tribal fish medallion, carved out of agate. It looks like, Cypriot or Etruscan to me. I used a hammered silver bracelet, and some thick chains to make the necklace part, and wire-mounted the fish onto it. It looks like a freakin coat of arms!

I made this one from a vintage medallion with an intricate bird motif, wire-wrapped crystals, and part of an ethnic/tribal looking necklace, possibly from India.
The juxtaposition of romanticism and tribalism....heavy.
A simple two strand in black chain with a carved bone pendant.
It has different carvings on each side.
I love taxidermy, and I love bugs. This beetle encased in lucite was part of a retro keychain. I attached it to a vintage rhinestone piece, and put it on a black chain.
The bling is toned down a lot by the insect!
And finally, this piece is made from a part of a vintage carnelian belt, a brass bottle, and chain.
Like a mini flask, this bottle has a gorgeous lotus motif on it.
I'll keep cranking out more, including some clothes too!
