Snarky Puppy Recording Session

Bass+drums+three guitars+four keyboardists/organists+four horns+three percussionsists+full string section+camera crew+ live studio audience= awesomeness

I was lucky enough last week to see my friends, Snarky Puppy, record their album in this big beautiful studio they basically built to record 20 musicians, and hold a live studio audience. Over the course of three days and 6 sets, they made their album. I went Wednesday, set II, and took some pictures.

December pieces

Awwww man, I have been making jewelry like crazy. I've been super inspired...listening to amazing music, and rocking the pliers/drill/file HARD! Here's what I've been up to so far....

This piece has a medallion from a Fraternal order called the Odd Fellows, a Figa (Afro-Brazilian amulet of protection) and a vintage pendant with a purple glass stone. All together a pretty rad talisman.

Now, I think this brass piece in this necklace if for like, found stray dogs in a shelter or something....I'm not sure. I added chains and vintage rhinestones.

I have had this locket for about TEN YEARS! I put it of vintage crystal rosary beads. Its time to let it go....

Vintage sterling Mexican collar necklaces with quartz and vintage sterling chain fringe...badass.

A vintage Zuni box top I bent and shaped into a medallion. LOVE that huge green turquoise!

Vintage sterling art nouveau locket with carnelian shoe clip and sterling chain. Modern-day
heirloom.

Another multi-charm. Hand, quartz with garnet, and a tree of life.

A beautiful quartz stone pendant with looong chain fringe. I originally made this for myself, but realized I have waaaay too much jewelry.

Vintage rhinstones and kinda Danish-modern looking chain necklace. Together the look is very rock and roll.

Made from a vintage earring and chain...

Vintage Middle-Eastern beads with rose quartz on red silk ribbon...took a while to make...one of my absolute favorites!
